Some people say that Falling Leaves make them feel depressed or signifies the end of life and the life cycle.  For Kim, it is the opposite of that sentiment.  Falling Leaves inspire her.  They signify a rebirth and renewal cycle. 

As the leaves fall, the trees go into a quiet period of contemplation – kind of like humans who seek change in our own lives.

A Passion for Assisting Others

Kim’s mission is to reduce the stigma of mental health treatment and to assist those she works with to live happier, healthier lives.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Part of Kim’s work as a therapist/suicide prevention educator has allowed her to guide teens utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy – teaching them how to reframe situations and look at things differently.
