Some people say that Falling Leaves make them feel depressed or signifies the end of life and the life cycle. For Kim, it is the opposite of that sentiment. Falling Leaves inspire her. They signify a rebirth and renewal cycle.
Part of Kim’s work as a therapist/suicide prevention educator has allowed her to guide teens utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy – teaching them how to reframe situations and look at things differently.
Kim is hopeful for those who find the term Falling Leaves a negative, that they will take this opportunity to view it in a different fashion and allow it to guide them in a positive direction.
